More Information

Plan to come early to the event – many of the shops will have specials and discounts!  Restaurants have been encouraged to set up before 5:00 so you can get a snack beforehand.

Will be updated in January 2019

COSTUMES:  Encouraged but not required.  There will be prizes!

FOOTWEAR: Wimberley is charming and that means there are some uneven sidewalks and steps. Please wear shoes that allow you to enjoy this walking wine tour.

WINE:  Each winery will have samples to taste and also have bottles available for purchase.  You will be limited to sampling each winery once so that you’ll have more time to try them all!

FOOD:  Restaurants will be set up along the route with food to purchase, feel free to come early and eat before the wineries are set up.

SHOPPING:  Many of the shops in the downtown Wimberley area will be open and have specials and discounts for participants.  Wineries will be selling your favorite bottles at their booths, commemorative t-shirts will be sold along the route, and you will find amazing food offerings for purchase at many of the stops.  Not all stops will be able to accommodate credit cards so please plan accordingly.

Shops will also be hosting Morning After Munchies on Friday!

RAIN:  The event will go on rain or shine!

PARKING:  Parking is limited due to booths being set up in regular parking areas.  Carpooling is encouraged.  The following lots will be open for parking:

  • Public lot behind Cypress Creek Café on Oak Drive
  • Wimberley Community Center, 14068 Ranch Road 12
  • The Waters Point, 13401 Ranch Road 12
  • The Lumberyard, 111 Old Kyle Parkway
  • Ozona Bank, 101 River Road
  • Old Baptist Church, Blue Hole Road off Old Kyle Road

Have fun, be safe and taste responsibly!
